General directions
|
- Wholesale prices indicated in the price list are determined for round diamonds with geometrical parameters corresponding to Group A and fashioned according to TU 25.07.1319-77, TU 25-14.0018-83, and TU 117-4.2003.89 standards.
- Wholesale prices are indicated in US dollars and recalculated to rouble prices according to the exchange rate established by the Russian Bank.
- Wholesale prices indicated in the price list are used in supplying diamonds to the state storages of Russia and other members of Russian Federation and in selling diamonds from these storages to exporting organizations.
- On both-side agreement, the wholesale prices from this price list are used with deductions or additions determined by an expert with consideration for the state of the market and agreement conditions.
- When diamonds are kept at the State Storage of Russia, the fashioning firms must compensate the storage expenses which are established at 1.5% of their value.
- When diamonds are distributed from the State Storage of Russia, jewelry companies, exporting enterprizes, and other purchasers must compensate expenses for storage and preparation of the diamonds for sale, which are established at 1.5% of the diamonds' price.
- Expenses of the state storages of members of the Russian Federation are determined by relevant agreements.
- The sum of these expenses is not inlcuded in the diamond prices and is paid separately.
- The prices for certified diamonds are determined according to this price list including certification expenses.

Additions (deductions) to diamond prices

The diamonds of fancy shapes fashioned according to TU
25.07.1319-77 or special requirements are appraised on the basis of
this price list as Full Cut diamonds of "A"-category with following
deductions (additions) established in percentage:

The diamonds of round and fancy shapes with parameters significantly departing from TU 25.07.1319-77 standards are appraised on the basis of this price list as diamonds of "A"-category with following deductions (in percentage):

Pique diamonds fashioned according to TU 25-14.0018-83 are appraised
on the basis of this price list as Single Cut diamonds of the 6th
quality grade, Full Cut diamonds up to 0.29 ct of the 9th quality
grade, and Full Cut diamonds more than 0.30 ct of the 12th quality
grade.
The round Swiss cut diamonds fashioned according to TU 25-07.1319-77
are appraised on the basis of this price list as Single Cut round
diamonds with geometric parameters corresponding to "A"-category with
15% addition. The prices for Swiss Ñut diamonds with a size of 20-30
pieces per carat correspond to those established in this price list
for Single Cut diamonds with a size of 30-40 pieces per carat.
When the deductions or additions are applied, the resulting price is determined accurate to one US dollar or one rouble.

Explanatory notes to the Russian price list
|
The Russian price list is applied to the diamonds graded according to the TU 25.07.1319-77 system, from 0.01 to 5.99 ct in weight. The diamonds are divided into size-weight groups. Small stones are grouped by size (mesh groups); large and medium-size stones are weighted.
